Furvia At-Home Grooming Guide

Before the first session

Let your pet inspect the Furvia unit and attachments while the machine is switched off. Introduce the operating sound from a comfortable distance and use praise or treats to reward calm behavior.

Start gradually

  1. Choose the attachment suited to the task.
  2. Begin with a short session.
  3. Work gently in the natural direction of the coat.
  4. Avoid eyes, ears, injured skin, and other sensitive areas.
  5. Stop if your pet shows significant fear, discomfort, or distress.

Using the clipper and guide combs

Only clip clean, dry, detangled fur. When uncertain, begin with a longer guide comb. The included lengths are 3 mm, 6 mm, 9 mm, 12 mm, 16 mm, and 24 mm.

When to use a professional groomer

Seek professional assistance for severely matted coats, complex breed-specific styling, sensitive-area trimming, injured or irritated skin, or pets that cannot tolerate the equipment safely.

After grooming

  1. Turn off and unplug the unit.
  2. Empty the collection container.
  3. Check the hose and attachments for blockages.
  4. Clean components according to the product instructions.
  5. Allow washable parts to dry completely before reassembly.
